Carbon-free mobility
Mobility leaves its mark -- at least so far. The hydrogen produced by our PEM electrolysis can be used directly in fuel cells, so it is emissions-free and climate-friendly. This makes roads and long-distance traffic cleaner and quieter. It could also produce fuel for aircraft or ships, thanks to the Power-to-X process.
Raw materials for industrial products
If carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen (H2) are mixed, high quality syngas is produced. This is a prospective process that combines CO2 emissions and uses them to produce chemical base materials for chemicals, polymers or synthetic fuels. Even the production of ammonia (NH3), the main component of mineral fertilizers, can be achieved through climate-friendly hydrogen production.
Decarbonization of industrial processes
The production and processing of raw materials and commodities require a great deal of energy. Hydrogen can improve the CO2 balance of these processes, such as hydrogen.
